Nicole Jules has spent 20 years at University School of Nashville building the systems that hold a school community together (discipline policy, advisory curriculum, faculty culture, and student support), the last 8 of those years chairing the school's Cultural Competency Committee, embedding DEI into the daily life of the school rather than treating it as a separate initiative.

As assistant head of high school for student affairs, Nicole leads the team responsible for student discipline, attendance, advisory programming, crisis response, and day-to-day student support across the high school. Earlier roles gave Nicole the full picture: 5 years as dean of students; 9 years as girls athletics director managing budgets, hiring, and compliance; and over a decade coaching basketball and volleyball at the varsity level.

Nicole holds a Master’s in Sport Administration from Belmont University alongside a B.A. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University, where four years of Division I basketball shaped how Nicole thinks about leadership, resilience, and team culture today.

A regular presenter at independent school conferences (NAIS, SAIS, TAIS) on discipline policy, leadership team design, and the intersection of care and accountability in student support, Nicole also teaches high school Psychology, bringing those same ideas directly into the classroom.
