About me
For the past two years, Caryn has been the middle school student support specialist at Ransom Everglades, overseeing middle school students' learning accommodations and providing academic support. Previously, she was a school counselor at another independent middle school for 13 years after starting a career in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
Caryn is a licensed school counselor and is deeply interested in the intersection of academic and emotional support, especially for students with high-incidence disabilities and students that are twice exceptional. Caryn is pursuing a PhD in Special Education with Florida International University and is on track to finish the spring of 2027.
