How do school leaders and counselors balance student well-being with accountability? This interactive session is designed to bridge the gap between counseling and student discipline. Led by counselors and student affairs deans, this workshop explores how to build foundation-level trust, protect confidentiality, and extend grace while upholding school standards.

Participants will examine the delicate balance of mental health and accountability, discussing whether "care" means allowing a mental health day, holding a student accountable, or a mix of both. Through collaborative, scenario-based discussions, attendees will learn how to engage families as partners and navigate complex student situations with clarity and collaboration. Join us to bring clarity to the gray areas of student support.
