Learning Detectives: Uncovering Executive Function in Your Own Classrooms

Join in as learning detectives and help crack what executive function really looks like in your classroom. Teachers do executive function triage every day, trying to teach reading, math, and everything else on their schedules. This session pulls that hidden work into the light, names it, and empowers teachers to strengthen it together.

Through short, hands-on activities, teachers will map implicit executive function demands across a typical morning, complete a quick self-audit on the skills they already teach explicitly, and unpack one common executive function challenge from their own classrooms. Teachers will realize what supports they already have in place, identify gaps, and walk away with one clear next step to implement right away.
